Plot Line Revolution - an online creative community

Picture
Plot Line Revolution is the brainchild of myself and the most fab Molly Murphy, two artists who got tired of feeling like we didn't have the space or the time to be creative, to share our work, and to collaborate with a larger community of artists. So we made the space, time, and community - thus was PLR born!

Our goal is to gather artists from all disciplines, foster connections, and work together to tell the stories that move us. The narratives we collect are a reflection of what powers us creatively, what we are passionate about, and who we are as a community of artists. Whether through music, illustration, poetry, theater - these narratives are a creative space where all of us can unite, imagine, and express.

ASTEP: Saturday Learning Series at the IRC

Picture
ASTEP (Artists Striving to End Poverty) is an amazing organization I've been passionate about for years, and recently was fortunate enough to teach with! ASTEP connects performing and visual artists with underserved youth in the U.S. and around the world to awaken their imaginations, foster critical thinking, and help them break the cycle of poverty. I lead a Creative Expression class with 6-12th graders as part of the Saturday Learning Series at the International Rescue Committee in Manhattan. Watch a video featuring our class here!
